Day 1 - Arrival at Nairobi Airport
Cycling tour participants are greeted and brought to Green Lake Resort in Naivasha
Relaxation and getting acquainted are the primary goals for this day. A boat trip on Lake Naivasha is the late afternoon plan, after which we can enjoy the comforts of the fine hotel and get a good night's rest, awakening refreshed to enjoy your first whole day in Kenya.

Day 2 - Unwind and charge up for adventure

In the hotel near Lake Naivasha, we have the ideal location to prepare for the challenging two weeks that lay ahead. An initial two night's stay here gives sufficient time for the tour orientation, checking the bicycles and getting to know one another. We start our cycling adventure by warming our muscles with a vengeance: a first biking trip through Hell's Gate National Park.

Day 3 - To Lake Nakuru Flamingo Lodge
You asked for adventure...
Today we put the 'c' on challenge. After warming up on 25 km (**) of asphalt roads, it heavy going (***) for approximately 35 km. A great deal of our energy is consumed by climbing and pedalling on heavy, partially sandy, gravel roads.
We are rewarded by splendid views on the mountain top: Lake Naivasha glittering on one side and and the beautiful Lake Elementaita on the other. After a careful downhill descent, we can recuperate on the final 15 km of asphalt.

Day 4 - A well-deserved break.
No bikes today!
The Lake Nakuru Flamingo Lodge, a pretty hotel in a peaceful area of exceptional natural beauty, will serve as our clubhouse for two nights. From here we can view flamingoes and the so-called "Big Four" Kenyan mammals.
On 4x4 Safari today. In the morning we head offroad into the fields to shoot photographs of colorful birds and the large animals in and around the lake. There is time in the afternoon to enjoy the hotel's rich facilities: to relax around the swimming pool, be pampered at the Spa or flex in the fitness room.
Day 5 - Flamingo Paradise Lake Bogoria
Salty Lake Bogoria.
The ride from Lake Nakuru to Lake Bogoria is on asphalt roads (***). It's a splendid ride, slightly downhill in a pretty setting. We pass some charming little villages and enjoy wide vistas. Occasionally we see turtles crossing the road.

Day 6 - Soaking in a vulcanic pool after a challenging ride?
What to do on day 6. You decide! On the bike again for a challenging 40 km gravel road to the Hot Springs and the Flamingos of Lake Bogoria? It depends on the presence of the flamingo groups and of course, what you like to do. Or forget the bike and do a morning boat trip on bird paradise Lake Baringo. In the afternoon you can at least relax and enjoy the wonderful swimming pool and spa.
Day 8 - Testing your limits at high altitude

Today we are riding at high altitude, approximately 60 km in the direction of Iten Town, on our way to the Kerio View Hotel. This is a top location to recuperate and as a starting point for the new adventures on day 9.
Our adventure cycling tour is now halfway and we spend two nights at the deluxe Kerio View Hotel.

Day 9 - Enjoy the brilliant scenery and the luxury of of the Kerio View Hotel and, always something to do in Iten!
Adventure options for today:
- Exploring the neighborhood on the bike and meet athletes of the whole world who are on high altitude training in Iten.
- Visit the colorful Iten marked.
- If there are elephants, a safari in the Kerio Valley.
The Kerio valley is often visited by herds of Elephants.
Day 10 - Cycling from Iten to Kapsabet

Day 11 - The Green Nandi Hills
Passing through the Nandi Hills tea plantations.
This cycling stage is over 95 km on asphalted roads, passing through the green Nandi hills towards the town of Kericho. The last 35 km is mostly ascending but with occasional steep climbs. A stay in the Taidy or in the Sunshine hotel.

Day 12 - Via the beautiful Kenyan tea plantations
On the route to the famous Masai Mara Reserve.
We cycle from Kericho to Bomet today. We pass through the beautiful tea plantations where the colorful workers cut the tealeaves. Your camera will do overtime.
Bomet is a key route to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve in the neighboring Narok County. Many locals sell traditional ornaments to the tourists along the roadside.

Day 13 - Entering the Masai Mara Landscape
The ride from Bomet to Talek is a challenging one. But it is your last cycling day in Kenya. You will land at the highlight of our tour, Masai Mara. Still, 2 days more, enjoying fabulous game drives, visiting a Masai village and enjoy the good food, showers and rest in our comfortable G&G Guesthouse.

Day 14 - Incredible world-class Safaris and meeting the Masai people.
The Masai Mara National Reserve.
You get both, a morning and an evening game drive, both with a great chance to see lions, leopards and cheetahs, and off-course the rest of the Big Five.
In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to visit a Masai village. Admire the colorful Masai, their village and their special way of life.
Day 15 - The Grand Finale.
Your last tour day starts with a delicious breakfast, followed by a final game drive to once again enjoy all the beauty that Masai Mara has to offer. At the end of the morning you take a shower, enjoy the last lunch and the taxi will take you back to Kenyatta Airport. Full of all impressions you board the plane excitedly and look forward to telling your stories as soon as you land and see your friends or loved ones again.
